What do you think of the animals feeling?
Do they feel nothing? Do they look at nothing?
When you are sad, you would find they keep kindly eyes on you.
If you want to be alone, they could read the sign and extinguish the presence.
Whenever you are happy, they should also look happy.
They may see into your mind. However they may never have eyes on you,
just looking into the far distance. They must be like mirrors to your mind.



矢田 香織（やた・かおり）
1977年三重県生まれ。大阪大学人間科学部卒。在学中は教育学・心理学を学ぶ。インテリア・雑貨関係の仕事を経て、Underground Galleryの立ち上げメンバーに。在籍中にグラフィックデザイナーを志し、以後、音楽、美容、菓子などのデザインに携わる。ロンドンのCentral Saint Martinsに短期留学したのをきっかけに、マイペースに絵を描き始める。画家・鈴木あきこ氏のアドバイスのもと油絵を始め、2022年夏、初の個展を開催。現在の仕事は、商品パッケージやロゴデザイン、エディトリアルデザインなど。写真を勉強中。京都市在住。一児の母。
